Bayern hit back for victory as Monchengladbach climb

Bayern battled back from two goals down to beat Wolfsburg while Borussia Monchengladbach are off the foot of the table. Bayern Munich have eased the pressure on manager Jurgen Klinsmann following a 4-2 win over Wolfsburg at the Allianz Arena. However, it could have been a different story with goals from Grafite and Edin Dzeko putting the visitors 2-0 up. Bayern crucially pulled a goal back before half-time through Franck Ribery and it was all about the home side after the break. Mark van Bommel equalised on 54 minutes with further goals from Tim Borowski and Bastian Schweinsteiger securing the points. Borussia Monchengladbach have moved off the bottom of the table after Patrick Paauwe's 51st minute goal gave them a 1-0 win over Karlsruhe. Werder Bremen battled back from a goal down to claim a 1-1 draw at Hannover. Christian Schulz opened the scoring early on, but Hugo Almeida's 40th minute effort ensured a share of the spoils. Eintracht Frankfurt had been destined for the foot of the table before turning things around and securing a 3-2 win over Energie Cottbus. Energie, who have just one win to their name this season, went 2-0 up courtesy of Dimitar Rangelov's brace. However, it was not to be with goals either side of half time from Michael Fink and substitute Martin Fenin levelling matters. With the game in the balance Nikos Liberopoulos' goal ensured it would be Frankfurt who claimed the three-point haul from the five-goal thriller. Schalke's clash with Arminia Bielefeld finished goalless.
