Slavia Sofia and Bulgarian attacker Blagoy Georgiev is waiting to see what may transpire from English interest.
Torino agree deal but wait for answer
Slavia Sofia and Bulgarian attacker Blagoy Georgiev is waiting to see what may transpire from English Premier League or Championship clubs before agreeing a loan move to Torino in Serie A.
The struggling Italian side have agreed a deal with Slavia for Georgiev to join them on loan in January with an option of a €1.5million (£1.2million) transfer.
The 26-year-old attracted interest from West Ham United and Eintract Frankfurt during the summer transfer window, but the deals fell through.
While an approach from Torino attracts the Bulgarian, a preferred move to England would be his dream destination.
"I have a style of play that suits the English game. I'm physical, strong, tall and like to play the game at a quick tempo," he told Bulgarian website
ProSport.bg.
With his contract at Slavia Sofia expiring at the end of this season a number of clubs in England, Italy and Germany, where he played for MSV Duisburg last term, have been watching Georgiev.
The versatile performer has been earning stellar reviews for his exploits in the Bulgarian national team, with a man of the match performance against Italy last week catching the eye.
