Motherwell's chief executive and director Ian Stillie will leave the Scottish club on Friday.
He was appointed chief executive 14 months ago but has resigned both posts to pursue other business ventures.
No replacement has yet been announced by the club, who welcome Hamilton to Fir Park in the SPL on Saturday.
A statement on the club's
official website said: "Ian is moving on to concentrate on other business ventures after 14 months as chief executive and several years as a director.
"We would like to thank Ian for all his work during his time at the club and wish him every success in his future career."
