Lyon midfielder Juninho is considering his retirement as he nears the end of his career at Stade de Gerland.
The Brazilian has won seven successive Ligue 1 titles to secure legendary status in France and Lyon's captain's armband.
But the 34-year-old has fallen down the pecking order this season and he has hinted that he could retire at the end of the current campaign.
"I am closer to the end of my career than to the beginning, Juninho told
France Football.
"It is necessary to prepare and negotiate about it because I know that it will all be finished soon."
