Dortmund held in Ruhr derby; Monchengladbach lose again
Borussia Dortmund missed the chance to go fifth in the Bundesliga after being held at home by lowly Bochum in the Ruhr derby.
Dortmund would have gone level with Schalke in fourth and above Hamburg with victory at the Signal Iduna Park.
However, Jurgen Klopp's men could not get the better of their Ruhr rivals - who took the lead through Thomas Zdebel just before the half-hour mark.
Dortmund levelled just before the break when Egyptian Mohamed Zidan fired home. The point does lift Bochum out of the bottom three.
Borussia Monchengladbach's miserable season continued as they went down to a 2-1 home defeat to
Eintracht Frankfurt.
Borussia actually took the lead as Marco Russ put through his own net after 12 minutes.
But Eintracht were level within minutes as Martin Fenin pounced.
The winner came on 52 minutes as Michael Fink fired home from the edge of the box.
