Robbie Keane insists he was not beginning to panic about his lack of Premier League goals for Liverpool. The forward netted a brace in Saturday's 3-0 victory over West Brom to open his league account for the Reds and fire his side back to the top of the table. Ahead of the meeting with the Baggies, pressure was beginning to mount on the £20million summer arrival due to a lack of domestic goals. Keane, who left Tottenham in July, had only scored in Europe for Liverpool but he is adamant that he knew the goals would come. "My first Premier League goal for Liverpool has been a long time coming but I knew it was only a matter of time," said Keane. "I didn't get down about things. "Hopefully that is Robbie Keane back to his best. It's been stop-start but I feel like I'm getting better and better with each game and starting to know the players more. "When I was younger, I'd get down about things but I knew it was a matter of time. "That said, it's not about Robbie Keane. It's about the team and the performance."
