Youngsters to be given a chance in Carling Cup tie

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed Rodrigo Possebon will make his Manchester United comeback against Queens Park Rangers. Possebon has not featured for the first team since suffering an injury against Middlesbrough in the Carling Cup third round in late September. There were fears that Possebon had broken his leg following a nasty challenge by Emanuel Pogatetz, but the Brazilian midfielder is fit again and will face QPR in Tuesday's fourth-round tie. "There's absolutely no problem with the boy now," Ferguson told the club's official website. "We did worry at the time, but fortunately he was OK." The teenager will be among several youngsters who will be given a chance against Championship side QPR at Old Trafford. Ferguson added: "The younger ones who will play will be Jonny Evans, Rodrigo Possebon, Rafael, Darron Gibson, Danny Welbeck - who is back playing now in the reserves after overcoming injury - and possibly Manucho. "The rest of the team will be filled by the first-team squad."
