Portuguese ace keen on move to England

Portugal international Simao Sabrosa has revealed that he hopes to play in the Premier League at some stage of his career. The talented playmaker has been strongly linked with Liverpool in the past, but a deal never materialised. A move to Anfield is believed to have been close to completion in 2005, during his days at Benfica, but fell through and he ultimately moved on to Atletico Madrid two years later. He admits to feeling settled in the Spanish capital at present, but refuses to rule out the possibility of an English switch in the future. "I signed a four-year contract," the 29-year-old told Sic Noticias. "I still have two more left (after this) and, if I complete them, I will do it happily, but I still have the dream of playing in England. "I'm attracted to the style of play there and their stadiums."
