Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez has scooped the Barclays Manager of the Month award for October.
The Reds won all four of their Premier League games in October to send them top of the table for a spell.
Benitez's side proved their title credentials with a superb 1-0 win over Chelsea to end the Blues' long unbeaten record at Stamford Bridge.
The Reds also showed their battling qualities when coming from behind to beat Manchester City and Wigan 3-2 last month.
Benitez paid tribute to his coaching staff after winning the prize.
"I am really pleased to receive this on behalf of my staff because they are doing very well. People like Sammy Lee, Mauricio Pellegrino, Xavi Valero and Paco Di Miguel," said Benitez.
"It's important for the staff and it's important because it means the team is playing well - you can't win Manager of the Month unless the team is winning.
"It means the club is in a good position. Hopefully we can receive more awards like this because it means we'll be in a good position at the end of the season."
