Dale at full strength, Evans back for Macc

Rochdale have no new injury worries, while Gareth Evans is available again for Macclesfield. Keith Hill should have a full-strength squad at his disposal as Rochdale look to maintain their excellent form against a Macclesfield side on a three-game losing run. Rochdale defender Nathan Stanton picked up a knock during last weekend's FA Cup tie at Barnet but is expected to be passed fit. Striker Jon Shaw has shaken off a niggling hamstring injury which has sidelined him since 23rd August but looks certain to start on the substitutes' bench. In another major boost, defender Simon Ramsden has overcome a troublesome calf problem which has kept him out of action since the end of September. The duo's return has given Hill a full complement of players to choose from for the clash with Keith Alexander's side. Hill said: "Both Jon Shaw and Simon Ramsden are fit and available, but both will find it difficult to break into the team because we have been playing so well, especially in the league."

Macclesfield news

Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander is boosted by the return of Evans for the trip to Spotland. Evans has completed a four-match ban and will increase Alexander's striking options as he comes into contention for a starting berth. However, defender Paul Morgan is unlikely to return to action after sustaining a blow to the head against Rotherham last month, but midfielder Jamie Tolley is fit again after a knee ligament injury. On-loan Wrexham midfielder Nat Brown is set to make his league debut for the Silkmen after an impressive bow in last weekend's 2-0 FA Cup first-round win at Harlow Town. The 27-year-old joined the Dragons in the summer but his appearances for the Welshmen have been limited due to injury. Alexander's struggling side have scored just 15 goals in 14 League Two outings this season and are currently 20th in the table.
