Henrik Larsson claims Feyenoord are interested in bringing him back to De Kuip.
The former Celtic and Barcelona star has been linked with a host of clubs as he considers his future at Helsingborgs.
Larsson enjoyed a successful spell at Feyenoord between 1993 and 1997 and he has revealed Giovanni van Bronckhorst has contacted him to see if he would be interested in a return to the Dutch giants.
"I have heard from Gio that Feyenoord is interested in me," Larsson told
De Telegraaf.
"I won't say anything about it. What I will do from now on depends on Helsingborg.
"I didn't see many games of Feyenoord lately, but I let Giovanni inform me. He explained that there are many injuries and that young guys get a chance."
