Bayern Munich will secure a place in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League with a draw against Steaua Bucharest at the Allianz Arena.
The Bundesliga giants have been in fine form of late having taken 20 points of out of possible 24 in the league, including thrashing Energie Cottbus at the weekend.
That form has eliminated the pressure on under-fire head coach Jurgen Klinsmann while also leaving Steaua a mountain to climb to stay in Europe.
The Romanians are currently bottom of Group F after taking just one point from their four games to date. They would have to win in Munich before seeing off Fiorentina in their final group game in order to bag Uefa Cup football.
Bayern team news
Klinsmann is unlikely to make wholesale changes to his team that saw off bottom club Energie Cottbus 4-1 on Saturday.
Miroslav Klose and Luca Toni are sure to lead the line, although there is unlikely to be a place on the bench for out-of-favour striker Lukas Podolski, who has submitted a transfer request.
Ze Roberto, Mark van Bommel, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Franck Ribery will make up the midfield if Klinsmann goes with his first-choice team, although the likes of Andreas Ottl or Toni Kroos could be drafted in.
Christian Lell could be restored in Bayern's back four at the expense of Massimo Oddo after being omitted for the weekend success over Cottbus.
Willy Sagnol (Achilles) and Hamit Altintop (broken foot) are long-term injury victims for Bayern while Philipp Lahm (ankle) is unlikely to be risked against Steaua.
Steaua team news
Robinson Zapata, Dorin Goian, Petre Marin, Sorin Ghionea and Dayro Moreno are sure to start for Steaua in Munich after appearing in all six of the team's European matches this season.
Goian and Bogdan Stancu will need to watch their step carefully as both players are just a booking away from incurring a one-game ban.
Defender George Ogararu is out of the match after damaging his ankle in Romania's international friendly against Georgia last week. Pawel Golanski is set to fill in at right back.
Ifeanyi Emeghara (knee) remains a long-term injury victim for head coach Dorinel Munteanu while Pantelis Kapetanos is set to miss out after suffering a groin injury in training.
