Uzbekistan's Server Djeparov is delighted at the prospect of training with some of the best players in the world at Chelsea.
The newly-crowned Asian Player of the Year is in high demand after an exceptional last 12 months with Bunyodkor, and a big-money move to Europe seems inevitable.
Chelsea have invited Djeparov for a month-long training stint with the club and the 26-year-old cannot wait to showcase his ability.
"I am flattered at getting the chance to train with some of the best players in England. I will have to chalk out a plan and talk to (Bunyodkor) about releasing me next season for this," Djeparov told the
Asian Football Confederation's website.
Offers
"I know there are some offers for me but at present I am a Bunyodkor player. I am ready to leave if there is a good offer from either a Russian or European club.
"I played for a new club and won two domestic titles and completed the hat-trick by becoming the top scorer of the league for the first time. Secondly, we made it to the semi-finals of the premier club competition of the continent," he added.
"To be among the top five players in Asia in itself was a big achievement for me and I was lost for words when I was chosen the best."
