Bayern president impressed by Hoffenheim striker
Bayern Munich president Frank Beckenbauer has hinted Hoffenheim hot-shot Vedad Ibisevic could be a future transfer target.
Ahead of Friday's Bundesliga showdown between the two teams in Munich, Beckenbauer was full of praise for the 17-goal striker.
"We are interested in all players that can help us improve and Ibisevic is one of those," he told
Premiere.
Dangerous
"He is not only a good player on the counter-attack, but someone who is continually dangerous in the box.
"I couldn't think of any reason that he wouldn't keep scoring for Bayern.
"Quite the opposite in fact: He would have more chances to get a shot in. That has been our biggest problem - we have wasted too many chances."
Job done
Hoffenheim lead Bayern by three points going into Friday's clash, but Beckenbauer - who is nicknamed the Kaiser - is confident his team will draw level at the top after the final whistle.
"My experience says that Bayern will get the job done in front of a full house at home," he said.
"I doubt that Hoffenheim can keep up with us for the whole 90 minutes."
