Frenchman delighted with Anfield showing

Hull star Bernard Mendy is hoping for a regular run in the side after impressing in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Liverpool. Mendy made his first start since September and he played an instrumental role in Hull's superb performance at Anfield. The Frenchman has struggled with injuries since his summer arrival at The KC Stadium, but he hopes his problems are behind him and that he can establish himself in Phil Brown's plans. "I don't know if it was my best performance," Mendy told the Hull Daily Mail. "I am coming here for a good experience. This is the first time in the Premier League for this club so everyone wants to stay there. It has been a very good start for us. "I think this could be the start of better things for me, I want to play so now I'm fit and it's okay."
