Former Gunner backs youngster to be an Arsenal great
Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira has backed Denilson to become 'one of the best players' at Emirates Stadium.
Brazilian midfielder Denilson, 20, signed for the Gunners from Sao Paulo in 2006 and has emerged as a first-team regular this campaign following Mathieu Flamini's departure to AC Milan.
Denilson has already clocked up 24 appearances this term - more than the whole of the last - and Vieira, who played for Arsenal for nine years, feels the youngster has what it takes to be a star in North London.
"He's a wonderful player. It's not going to be easy for him because Flamini was a good player," Inter Milan enforcer Vieira said.
"We need to give him more time to develop as a player but he can be one of the best players at the club. The more he plays the better he will be.
"He is young and has so many qualities and he's only in his first years of playing in the Premier League.
"He and (Cesc) Fabregas can play together, all the good players can play together."
