Reds meet Real; Fergie faces Mourinho; Ranieri back at Bridge

Liverpool will meet Real Madrid, Manchester United face Inter Milan, Chelsea tackle Juventus and Arsenal are up against Roma in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League. Friday's draw in Nyon, Switzerland, has produced a host of mouth-watering ties, with Rafa Benitez's men tackling nine-times European champions Real, who are now under the stewardship of former Spurs boss Juande Ramos. Sir Alex Ferguson will lock horns with Jose Mourinho once again after the Champions League holders were drawn against Inter Milan. Ferguson and Mourinho enjoyed numerous managerial duels during the Portuguese's time at Chelsea, while his celebratory sprint along the Old Trafford touchline in 2004 while in charge of Porto remains an iconic image. Claudio Ranieri, who managed Chelsea from 2000 to 2004, will return to Stamford Bridge next year with his current charges Juventus. The Blues are determined to go one better than last season's final heartbreak having suffered penalty agony in the Moscow rain against United. Arsenal are the third Premier League side to be drawn against Italian opposition, with Roma the opponents for Arsene Wenger's men. The Serie A side topped Group A ahead of Chelsea and will have home advantage in the second leg against the Gunners. The remaining fixtures see Villarreal up against Panathinaikos, Sporting Lisbon tackle Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid meet Porto and Lyon face Barcelona.
