Gunners left-back demands improvement on the pitch
Arsenal full-back Gael Clichy has urged his team-mates to improve their 'focus and communication' in matches.
The Gunners have been guilty of conceding at costly times in games this term, most recently surrendering a two-goal lead at Premier League rivals Aston Villa.
Clichy, though, has revealed the players are working hard to resolve their defensive frailties and are hopeful of building on a rare clean sheet against Portsmouth last weekend.
"When we conceded late goals, it was not so much that the other teams were better than us, more of a lack of focus and communication," he told the club's
official website.
"The boss has asked us to talk and communicate more on the pitch, which is what we did against Portsmouth and we got the clean sheet.
"We all played as a unit against Portsmouth, and we have to use this game as an example for the team and if we play like this, with the players we have, we can still do things."
