Brazilian striker urged to remain with Serie A champions
Inter Milan's transfer market consultant Gabriele Oriali is hoping Adriano will stay with the club.
The Brazil international has been strongly linked with a transfer during the January window, with the burly striker believed to be struggling with the demands of living under the constant spotlight at one of Italy's biggest clubs.
A return to his homeland, with Flamengo, has been touted, while there has also been reported interest from the Premier League.
However, Inter have continued to reiterate that their intention is to keep the 26-year-old at Giuseppe Meazza, with Oriali the latest to air his opinion.
"Our aim is to keep him, it depends on him now," he told
Sky Italia.
"He knows what he must do and how he must behave.
"The idea is to keep him and should he get back to the level he was at during his first few years at the club that would be good."
While Oriali has ruled out the sale of Adriano, he has also moved to quash speculation suggesting Jose Mourinho is looking to bolster his squad during the current window.
"The intention of the club and the coach is to continue with the group we have now, whom we are very happy with," he added.
