Bluebirds confirm Gunners clash will take place at Ninian Park

Cardiff City have confirmed that their fourth round FA Cup tie with Arsenal will be played at Ninian Park. There had been talk that the Championship club may opt to switch the tie to the Millennium Stadium but Cardiff have now put that to bed. The reasons behind the proposed switch would have let Cardiff make more money on ticket sales with the Millennium Stadium having a capacity of 74,000 compared to Ninian Park's 21,500. But the club have announced that they had no intention of switching the venue of the Gunners clash and have already begun arranging ticket allocation and prices. "Contrary to media speculation Cardiff City Football Club have no intention of switching the venue for our fourth round FA Cup tie against Arsenal," a statement on the club's official website read. "Ninian Park is our spiritual home and all home fixtures will be carried out at this venue. "We are currently liaising with Arsenal in terms of allocation and prices."
