Striker eager for future to be resolved
Wycombe Wanderers striker Scott McGleish is hoping to secure a return to Northampton Town.
McGleish recently spent two months on loan with the Cobblers and scored twice in 11 appearances for the League One side.
He is now back at Wycombe, but the 34-year-old is waiting for Northampton boss Stuart Gray to arrange a deal for his return.
"It's left completely open with Stuart (Gray)," McGleish told the
Northampton Chronicle and Echo.
"He wants to keep me, but I think he needs to speak to the club and see how everything lies there.
"Wycombe have taken me back and they've told me that I am going to be involved, they haven't just recalled me for the sake of it.
"My contract is up in the summer, though, so from that point of view if I could get something sorted out then it would be a weight off my mind, but I just want to play football right now."
