Gunners ace won't throw in title towel

Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor says Arsene Wenger's side will continue to fight and battle for every point until the end of the season. The Gunners' title hopes faded in the first half of the Premier League season, with five league defeats seeing them slip 10 points behind league leaders Liverpool. Despite Arsenal's disappointing season so far Adebayor wants Wenger's side to scrap for their lives between now and May in a bid to finish the campaign as high up the table as possible. "We are trying to give 100 per cent in every game at the moment but it's quite difficult," he said.

Difficult situation

"We started the league in a difficult situation. We shouldn't be 10 or 11 points behind the leaders, Liverpool, but we want to keep going. "We know the team is strong, we know that we have the quality. When we put everything together we can do well. "The most important thing for us is to do our best."
