Winger eager to end contract talks as quickly as possible
Wolves winger Matt Jarvis hopes to complete contract talks as quickly as possible and extend his stay at Molineux.
The former Gillingham midfielder has starred this season as Mick McCarthy's side have set the pace in the Championship.
And 22-year-old Jarvis told
skysports.com that a new contract would help create an extra sense of stability as Wolves chase a return to the Premier League.
"Hopefully the ball will start rolling now and it will be nice to get that sorted and out of the way so that I can concentrate solely on playing football," he said.
Fantastic
Jarvis' team-mate Sylvan Ebanks-Blake won the PFA's Fans award for Championship Player of the Month during December and Jarvis hopes the club can hang on to their star players during the January transfer window.
"Sylvan's goal record speaks for itself really and he has been fantastic in front of goal this season," added Jarvis.
"He's been brilliant and also chipped in with a few assists for the side as well.
"Everyone wants to get promoted and work together, so we don't want to disturb what the gaffer has built here this season.
"Hopefully the club can keep the squad together and we can continue to build on what he achieved during 2008."
