Sought-after striker is delighted to be back
Racing Club Lens striker Aruna Dindane has expressed his delight after returning to action this week after an eight month absence following a knee operation.
The Ivory Coast international came on as a 57th minute substitute on Thursday in a game against Grenoble.
The player has been linked with a host of clubs - including Hull, Stoke and Paris St Germain - but is just happy to return to the field.
He told
skysports.com: "I am happy to be back, it has been a long journey, I now need to find some rhythm and see."
Asked if he had been aware of the presence of scouts from Marseille and Stoke watching him play, he replied: "I was not aware of that, but there has been a lot of speculation about me.
"However it is not only the Premier League, there are good teams in France, but my president needs to be happy with everything.
"I would like to thank all the staff who have helped me to recover from my injury."
