Skipper boost for hosts, but captain absent for visitors
Crewe have club captain Julien Baudet in contention for the FA Cup third-round replay against Millwall, who are missing their skipper Paul Robinson.
Baudet has returned to full training after recovering from knee ligament damage, while fellow defender Billy Jones has recovered from a groin injury to be available.
New Crewe boss Gudjon Thordarson is taking charge of his first home game and also has Michael O'Connor, Eugen Bopp and Calvin Zola in his plans.
However, the match comes too soon for Chris McCready (hamstring), Kenny Lunt (hernia), Steven Schumacher (ankle) and Danny Woodards (hamstring) who have all been ruled out.
Millwall news
Millwall boss Kenny Jackett will be without Robinson for the trip to the club's League One rivals.
Robinson was due to serve a one-match ban against Cheltenham but that game was postponed due to a frozen pitch and he will now miss out against the Railwaymen.
Fellow defender Tony Craig will also be absent at Gresty Road as he serves the final game of a three-match ban.
Zak Whitbread is set to come into defence after recovering from a pelvic problem and reserve-team captain Pat O'Connor could be in line for his senior debut after being added to the squad.
However, midfield duo Preston Edwards, Nadjim Abdou and Chris Hacket will miss out, along with Danny Spiller (hip), Marcus Bignot and Danny Senda (both knee), but Dave Martin is back after a one-match ban.
