Hernan Crespo has put to bed rumours of him joining Tottenham or any other Premier League side.

33-year-old striker insists he will not leave Inter mid-season

Hernan Crespo has put to bed rumours of him joining Tottenham by saying, 'I'm done with the Premier League.' The Inter Milan striker has been linked with a bid from Spurs after Harry Redknapp was in the stands for the midweek Coppa Italia tie with Genoa, although the Tottenham boss refuted the claims on Friday. The rumoured move would spell a return to London for the Argentine, who had a mixed time at Chelsea under Jose Mourinho. But the 33-year-old, who was once the most expensive signing in the world when he joined Lazio from Parma for £35.5 million, has no intension of returning to the English Capital or England's top flight for that matter. "Would I go back to the Premier League? No, I've done my bit" he told Studio Sport. "If have to consider what has happened overall, I'd say that if given the chance to leave Inter in the summer then I would have gone. I really doubt I'll quit mid-season, though. "I think that I can end the campaign better than in the last six months, that is what I hope for. I work every day to work hard and improve so I can find space in the side." Crespo has been vocal about his unhappiness at Inter after he was pushed on to the sidelines, but in recent games he has made a few impressive appearances.
