Blues boss insists that no one is safe from the Chelsea axe

Luiz Felipe Scolari has challenged his players to give their all for the Chelsea cause, or exit the club. Chelsea have only lost three games this season, but those defeats have all come against their 'Big Four' opposition. This might suggest that the level of ability is lacking at Stamford Bridge, however Scolari is adamant that this failure to match their rivals is a matter of heart rather than quality. "It's time for everybody to play with spirit, to show their love for Chelsea - or it's time to change club!" declared the Brazilian to The Daily Star. And thumping his heart, Scolari continued: "When we have this, we are better than other teams. "This is the difference, because we have good players, fantastic players technically, but we need spirit every week, every day, every hour."

'Call and buy'

Chelsea have already shown Wayne Bridge the door during the January transfer window, and Scolari has suggested that others can follow if they wish. He added in The Sun: "I know many managers and assistants are calling the players saying this or that. Now is the time for all of my players - call and buy." "Every day I look in the papers about contact for players. Okay. Pay what the club wants and go. "If you don't go, stay here. But stay because this job is very good and because you love the club. Finish. If not, for any player I have youngsters. If I lost 3-0 or 5-0 it's the same."
