Managerless Leyton Orient tackle Southend United in League One on Tuesday night.
Granville in contention for O's; McCormack & Clarke doubts for Shrimpers
Managerless Leyton Orient could have experienced defender Danny Granville back in contention for their League One clash with Southend.
Youth-team boss Kevin Nugent takes charge of team affairs on a caretaker basis after Martin Ling's five-year spell at the club came to an end following Orient's 2-1 home defeat to Bristol Rovers.
Granville has not featured since Boxing Day and was rested for the Pirates clash with the thigh injury that has troubled him in recent weeks.
However, he could be fit enough to return in the match at Brisbane Road which has past a pitch inspection following heavy rain.
Striker Wayne Gray is Orient's only major injury concern as he continues his rehabilitation from a cruciate knee ligament injury which is likely to keep him on the sidelines until March.
Southend team news
Southend manager Steve Tilson looks set to be without Alan McCormack and Peter Clarke for the trip to face Orient.
Midfielder McCormack limped out of the Shrimpers' 3-1 defeat to Stockport at the weekend with a groin injury and is unlikely to recover in time, while defender Clarke was sent off at Edgeley Park and begins a three-match suspension.
Striker Francis Laurent is out for up to six weeks with an ankle injury while Lee Barnard faces a late fitness test on a knock ahead of the match.
Winger Junior Stanislas has completed his loan spell at Roots Hall and has returned to parent club West Ham so Damian Scannell could come in for his first appearance since returning from a loan spell at Brentford.
