Falkirk have completed the signing of Spanish goalkeeper Dani Mallo.
The 29-year-old has been on trial with the SPL outfit and has impressed manager John Hughes.
Mallo has been with Sporting Braga, but he had an agreement to terminate his contract and he has moved to Scotland on a free transfer.
"I am happy and now I just want to make the most of my chance with Falkirk," he said.
"My time in Braga was not good because I did not have the chance to play.
"My dream is now to play and do well in the Scottish League.
"People think of the likes Celtic and Rangers, but the league is a good level.
"I would love to play this weekend, but that is up to the coach."
