Midfielder has become an integral part of Royals' squad

Kalifa Cisse has committed his future to Reading after signing a contract extension through to 2011. The Mali international has made 50 appearances for the Royals since joining the club in 2007 from Boavista. He has been a key figure for the Championship club this season and has been rewarded with a new two-and-a-half year deal. Reading's director of football Nick Hammond believes the 27-year-old fully merits an extension at the Madejski Stadium. "He made a big transition when moving here from Portugal in 2007, but Kalifa is now firmly settled here and he thoroughly deserves his new deal," Hammond told the club's official website. "Off the pitch he is a fantastic personality to have around and on it he has been exceptional to become an integral member of the team." Meanwhile, Reading winger Oliver Bozanic has joined non-league side Woking on a one-month loan arrangement.
