Potters set to recall striker
Stoke boss Tony Pulis will have no qualms about throwing Ricardo Fuller into action next week.
Having crashed out of the FA Cup at the third round stage, The Potters have taken advantage of their enforced break to head for some winter sun in Dubai.
Pulis has been impressed by the commitment displayed by every member of his squad during the training trip to the Middle East.
Top scorer Fuller is just one of those to have caught the eye, with the Jamaican international having put his recent problems behind him.
The 29-year-old was forced to sit out a three-match ban following an altercation with team-mate Andy Griffin, but could now come back into contention for Stoke's trip to Tottenham on Tuesday.
"I can't speak for Ric, but he certainly gives the impression he's raring to go," Pulis told
The Sentinel.
"I'm sure he's desperately keen to get back into the team to do well for the club, the fans and for the rest of the lads.
"I'm sure he's got over everything that's happened and he's certainly looked as bright as a button whenever he's put his foot down in training.
"The only concern is that he's gone so long without playing, but I'm sure he'll pick up the pace pretty quickly."
