Dartford striker Cody McDonald is poised to sign for Championship strugglers Norwich City.
Non-League striker handed Championship chance
Dartford striker Cody McDonald is poised to sign for Norwich as he undergoes a medical and discusses personal terms at Carrow Road.
The promising 22-year-old has impressed during a trial spell at the Championship club and clearly done enough to earn a permanent stay.
League One Peterborough were also keen but it is Norwich who have offered terms to a player also thought to have caught Fulham and Sheffield United's attention.
Should McDonald accept terms and pass his medical he will become the second striker to join Norwich in a day, as earlier on Sunday Celtic's Chris Killen arrived on loan until the end of the season.
Dartford have previously stated they would not stand in McDonald's way if he was offered the chance to enhance his career in the Football League.
