Rotherham beat the transfer deadline to capture young Blackburn striker Jamie Clarke. The 21-year-old has signed on a free transfer until the end of the season having failed to make a first-team appearance for Blackburn. Clarke has been on loan at Blackburn's neighbours Accrington this season, scoring five goals in 12 league starts. Millers boss Mark Robins had the chance to cast his eye over Clarke as he featured for Accrington in Rotherham's 3-1 victory at the Interlink Express Stadium in December.
