Adrian Forbes could debut for Grimsby, while Craig McAllister is the only doubt for Exeter.
On loan Millwall forward could debut for struggling Mariners
Grimsby boss Mike Newell could hand a debut to forward Adrian Forbes for the visit of Exeter.
Forbes, who can play in midfield or up front, joined on loan from League One side Millwall this week and will be pushing for a start.
However, defender Rob Atkinson is unavailable as he serves a one-match ban following his sending off in the 2-0 defeat at Bradford last weekend.
Midfielder Robbie Stockdale is back in training following an ankle injury and could return to the squad, but Tom Newey (hamstring) is not match fit and is unlikely to feature.
Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro is still struggling with a hamstring problem and is rated as doubtful, but midfielder Stuart Elliott is in contention after extending his loan from Doncaster by a further month.
Grecians news
Exeter boss Paul Tisdale has just one injury doubt for his side's visit to Grimsby.
Striker Craig McAllister will undergo a late fitness test after being forced off with a thigh injury at half-time during the 2-1 win over Barnet last weekend.
McAllister has had extra time to recover after Tuesday's match with Port Vale was postponed, but is still an injury doubt.
Fit-again defender Matthew Taylor returned from two months out injured to play the full match against Barnet and should retain his place in the starting line-up.
