Marcello Lippi has recalled Gianluigi Buffon and Andrea Pirlo to the Italy squad for the friendly with Brazil.

Italy coach Marcello Lippi has recalled Gianluigi Buffon and Andrea Pirlo to the squad for next week's friendly with Brazil. However, Lippi has again left out Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero for the game at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium. Juventus keeper Buffon and AC Milan playmaker Pirlo are both back to fitness after they missed Italy's last friendly match against Greece in November due to injury. Giorgio Chiellini is missing through injury meaning Fiorentina's Alessandro Gamberini is likely to start in defence alongside Fabio Cannavaro. Liverpool's Andrea Dossena is the only English-based player in the squad.
