Leeds' on-loan striker happy to extend spell at Elland Road
Leeds United's on-loan striker Lee Trundle would be happy to extend his Elland Road stay.
The 32-year-old hit-man's loan switch from Bristol City ends after Monday's clash against Millwall after linking up with Simon Grayson's side on a month's loan.
Leeds attempted to extend his stay until the end of the season last week, only to see their bid rejected by the Championship outfit.
But they could approach City again with a view to keeping Trundle in West Yorkshire for a second month, something Trundle would welcome.
Doing well
"At the minute Bristol City are doing well. They're on a good run of games so I can't see the team changing at the moment," he told
Sky Sports News.
"If I could stay for another month and get some more games under my belt I would be happy to do that.
"As a footballer what you want to do is go out on a Saturday and enjoy your game. There's nothing worse than sitting in the stand or on the bench when you just love playing football.
"While I'm getting games under my belt and enjoying it I'm happy to stay."
