Dutch club bring in Skeid ace Flamur Kastrati

FC Twente have signed Skeid ace Flamur Kastrati after the youngster impressed during a trial. Manager Steve McLaren has been eager to secure the signature of the 17-year-old for some time but the former England boss will not rush his new signing into action. The striker caught the eye last season when he scored six goals in 20 games for the Norwegian second division side. Skeid have a reputation for developing talent for the national side with Daniel Braaten, who enjoyed a spell with Bolton last season, one of the players to begin his career with the club and then go on to collect international honours. "Flamur will travel to the Netherlands on Monday," his agent Gunnar Martin Kjenner revealed to Aftenposten. "Then, he will join Twente's reserve squad, but he is one of four players who will train with the full team."
