Howe misses out for Shrimps; Beevers suspended for visitors
Lincoln City will be aiming to extend their five-game unbeaten run when they tackle Morecambe in League Two at Christie Park on Tuesday night.
Morecambe will be without top goalscorer Rene Howe for their home clash against Lincoln.
The striker has picked up a hamstring problem and would have missed Saturday's clash against former club Rochdale had it not been postponed.
But even without the injury he would have missed the clash against the Imps due to suspension. Matt Blinkhorn is likely to step in and take his place.
Forward Wayne Curtis is battling to overcome a rib injury but could feature at Christie Park if he proves his match fitness.
Striker Michael Howard (spine) and defender Andy Parrish (knee) are both likely to be absent for several weeks as the League Two club look to propel themselves closer to the top half of the table.
Lincoln team news
Lincoln boss Peter Jackson will be without Lee Frecklington for the trip to Morecambe.
The midfielder is to join Peterborough on a three-month loan deal when the loan transfer window re-opens on Tuesday.
Lee Beevers will miss out due to a one-match ban after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in the Imps' last fixture - a 3-3 draw with Bournemouth on 31st January.
Striker Ben Wright (hamstring) is expected to continue his recovery when the reserves travel to Mansfield on Wednesday night, while Geoff Horsfield (calf) and Danny Hone (knee) remain long-term absentees.
The game at Christie Park is due to undergo a pitch inspection at 1pm on Tuesday.
