Hatters boss in hot water for a second time with the FA

Luton manager Mick Harford has been charged by the Football Association with bringing the game into disrepute. Harford has been charged for his comments to the press regarding the performance of referee Trevor Kettle after the 3-3 draw at home to Bradford in late January. The former Wimbledon hardman was unhappy with the decision to award the Bantams a penalty which rescued the promotion-chasers a last-gasp point. After the match the Hatters boss described Kettle as "an incompetent referee" although he has since come out and stated that he regretted making the comments. Harford was also charged with improper conduct after the same game relating to his behaviour towards Kettle at full-time. Bradford boss Stuart McCall has also been charged with improper conduct after being sent to stands for contesting a decision to award a free-kick in the first half of the match.
