Burnley boss Owen Coyle has played down suggestions that Ade Akinbiyi could be set to join Blackpool.
The experienced striker has not been a regular starter for the Clarets this season and has been linked with a move away from Turf Moor.
Coyle admits that several clubs have expressed an interest in signing the 34-year-old but insists there has been no contact with Blackpool for some time.
He said: "There have been a number of enquiries about Ade, Blackpool being one.
"But that was three or four weeks ago and that's all it was, an enquiry."
Coyle does not Akinbiyi to join Blackpool, adding: "I don't enter into speculation, but there's certainly no chance of that being imminent or happening."
