Recent signing set for lengthy absence due to kidney injury
Brighton & Hove Albion defender Jim McNulty faces a lay-off after suffering a serious kidney injury against Crewe Alexandra.
The January signing from Stockport County suffered the injury in the second half of Saturday's 4-0 defeat and was taken to hospital at full-time.
The League One strugglers expect the full-back to be out for 'some time', with McNulty adding to Brighton's injury troubles.
The club's injury list is in to double figures, with caretaker boss Dean White looking to bring in loan signings before Tuesday's game against Bristol Rovers.
Joining McNulty on the sidelines for the game at the Memorial Stadium are Tommy Elphick, Nicky Forster, Michel Kuipers, Gary Hary and Jonny Dixon.
The Seagulls could also be without Adam Hinshelwood, Colin Hawkins, Glenn Murray, Kerry Mayo and Calvin Andrew for the match.
