Willem II climbed further clear of trouble at the wrong end of the table with a 1-0 victory at fellow strugglers Sparta Rotterdam. George Mourad grabbed the winning goal for Willem II 16 minutes from time to give them three priceless points. The win moves Willem into 12th spot in the table, while Sparta remain in 14th place. Willem II are now 12 points clear of basement boys FC Volendam, but Sparta are still nervously looking over the shoulders as they battle to avoid relegation.
