Lincoln City have agreed a deal to sign Derby County midfielder Paris Simmons on a month's loan.
Simmons has yet to make an impact at Pride Park, with his sole first-team appearance coming as a substitute on the final day of last season.
He spent a spell on loan at Burton Albion earlier this term while current Derby County boss Nigel Clough was in charge of the Blue Square Premier club.
Clough has now allowed the 19-year-old, who plays on the left-hand side, to gain further experience at League Two outfit Lincoln.
Providing the paperwork is finalised in time, Simmons will be in Peter Jackson's squad for Tuesday night's game against Wycombe Wanderers.
