Lincoln v Bury preview

Dany N'Guessan and Aaron Brown should be fit for Lincoln, but Paul Scott is missing for Bury.

Imps' pair should return to face Shakers

Lincoln players Dany N'Guessan and Aaron Brown should be fit for the Imps' clash with promotion-chasing Bury. The Imps got back to winning ways after their derby horror show against Grimsby by beating Wycombe on Tuesday. N'Guessan suffered a slight calf injury in the game and was withdrawn towards the end, while Brown took a kick on his shin, but both are expected to recover in time. Defender Danny Hone is still two weeks away from fitness following a knee injury. He has started running and will hope to be involved in training at some point next week. Lennell John-Lewis went under the knife last week to cure a hernia problem and the striker is going to be on the sidelines for a further three weeks. On-loan youngster Paris Simmons has returned to Derby after he turned his ankle in a reserve game, with the injury expected to keep him out for 10 days.

Shakers news

Bury manager Alan Knill will be without Paul Scott as he prepares his side for the trip. Defender Scott has had an operation on a knee injury and will miss the rest of the season, with Steve Haslam deputising at right-back. "It's a big blow to lose Paul but we were always going to lose somebody at some stage this season," said Knill. "We have been lucky with injuries and we hope that continues, especially as we only have a small squad base to pick from. "Lincoln are a very good side and I expect it to be tough."
