Bournemouth will be looking to continue their good form with a win at struggling Macclesfield.

Jennings and Green out for hosts while Cooper doubt for visitors

Bournemouth will be looking to continue their good form with a win at struggling Macclesfield on Saturday. The Cherries have moved out of the bottom two at the expense of Grimsby after a run of just two defeats in 11 league games. Tuesday's excellent 3-1 win away at play-off hopefuls Exeter will mean Eddie Howe's side go into the clash high on confidence. Meanwhile Macclesfield have struggled in front of their home fans this term winning just six out of their 19 games at the Moss Rose.

Silkmen team news

Macclesfield boss Keith Alexander will again be without defender James Jennings and striker Francis Green. Jennings has missed the past five games with a knee injury sustained during the 3-1 defeat against Gillingham on February 21. He is unlikely to play again this season and Green remains out of action as he also battles to recover from a knee injury. Defenders Paul Morgan and Sean Hessey shrugged off knocks to play in Tuesday's 2-0 home defeat against Accrington, the Silkmen's 10th home reverse of the season, and should again be available again. Alexander admits he is worried about his side's home form, saying: "I just can't understand why we can't perform at home."
Cherries team news
Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe will assess the fitness of skipper Shaun Cooper. Utility-man Cooper, who has been struggling with a niggling groin injury in recent weeks, came off at half-time on Tuesday after suffering a dead leg. Howe will hope to have striker Alan Connell available after he missed out in midweek. The 26-year-old was absent for the trip to St James's Park after being given compassionate leave due to family reasons. Midfielder Marvin Bartley will also hope to be available after missing out in midweek with a foot injury but right-back Joel Ward remains sidelined as he recovers from damaged ankle ligaments.
