Huddersfield Town manager Lee Clark has handed a trial to former Manchester United academy striker Chris Fagan.
The Irish teenager was released from Old Trafford at the end of last season and, despite receiving offers from several Football League clubs, opted to join up with Glenn Hoddle's football academy in Spain.
Fagan, 19, joined United's academy as a 16-year-old from Home Farm and was a member of the side which finished runners-up in the 2006/7 Youth Cup.
He is expected to feature in the Terriers' midweek reserve clash with Hartlepool.
