Milan stalwart wants further Champions League success

AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf admits he may retire if he wins the UEFA Champions League for a fifth time. The Dutchman is the only player to have won the competition with three different clubs after first lifting the trophy with Ajax back in 1995. He was a winner with Real Madrid in 1998 and has twice tasted Champions League glory during his time at Milan in 2003 and 2007. Milan failed to qualify for this season's tournament, but the Italian giants are on course to feast at Europe's top table again next term. And Seedorf, who turns 33 next month, has suggested one more final success in the Champions League could see him head into retirement.

Dream

"After I win my fifth I will stop playing!" Seedorf told his official website, www.fobazo.com. "Maybe I will do just one year more and that will be the maximum of my dreams. It's still a dream I have very present in my mind. "I definitely would like to achieve one more final, one more cup and one more Champions League. "Then I can look back and say, 'OK, it's been a great journey' and maybe just enjoy the last season and then just stop."
