Italian takes praise in his stride
Fabio Capello is refusing to get too carried away with his success as England coach ahead of Wednesday's clash with Ukraine.
The Italian has done an impressive job since replacing Steve McClaren, with only defeats to France and Spain blotting his copybook.
England have made a convincing start to their 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign with a 100 per cent record in Group Six to leave them well-placed for South Africa next summer.
Capello has come in for high praise from a number of the England players, but the former AC Milan and Real Madrid manager is not letting the plaudits go to his head.
"When you win, you are the best. When you lose, you are nothing. That is what it is like as a manager," said Capello.
"Maybe they (the people saying nice things) are waiting for mistakes.
"What the players have said is not important. The future will decide whether Fabio Capello was a good manager or a bad one."
