Striker insists no issues with boss

Amr Zaki insists his falling out with Wigan is a misunderstanding. Wigan boss Steve Bruce is furious with the Egyptian striker, who - not for the first time this season - has failed to return to Lancashire after playing for Egypt in their World Cup qualifier against Zambia. Bruce has labelled Zaki as unprofessional and has admitted that the chances of him signing for the club on a permanent basis are now in doubt. Zaki, who is on a season-long loan at Wigan from Zamalek, insisted there is no big fall-out with Wigan - despite Bruce's comments. "A medical report proving my injury was sent by the Egyptian FA to Wigan, but the club insisted on having a copy of the scan," Zaki told Dream TV. "I don't have any personal problems with Bruce, but there are some things I don't want to reveal right now." Zaki admitted he is still considering his future plans, saying: "I will be heading back to Zamalek at the end of the season before deciding my next destination."
