Striker salutes Everton achievement

Louis Saha believes Everton have done superbly to reach the FA Cup final despite their injury problems. The Toffees played out a goalless draw with Manchester United at Wembley on Sunday before progressing on penalties as Dimitar Berbatov and Rio Ferdinand were both denied by Tim Howard. They will face Chelsea in next month's showpiece and Saha is relishing the prospect after missing several big games during his time with Fulham and Manchester United. "I am happy, really happy. However I still have to reach May 30," the Frenchman told L'Equipe. Saha, who completed 70 minutes before being replaced by Jack Rodwell, is just one Everton player to have suffered with injuries this season. David Moyes' men have still managed to knock out the likes of Liverpool, Aston Villa and Middlesbrough, while Saha believes they were worthy winners against United. He said: "I did my best to help my team-mates during the semi-final. It has been an amazing day. "It is so good, above all considering all the efforts we did. Each round we had difficult draws, with some big matches. So we deserved to reach the final. "Considering all the injured players we have had this season, it is a miracle, and the word is not big enough. Now we have to win it."
